Bad breath, also known as halitosis; It is a situation that breaks the self-confidence of the person, is embarrassing and negatively affects his social life, and since the person cannot perceive his own smell, he has to be warned by the people around him. Dry Mouth: Saliva makes an effective cleaning in the mouth. If this epidemic decreases, a bad smell occurs in the mouth. What are the Treatment Methods for Bad Breath?

The most important method among the treatment methods of bad breath is to provide oral hygiene. Teeth should be cleaned 2 or 3 times a day and simple methods such as dental floss should be applied regularly after each meal. If necessary, an antibacterial mouthwash can also be used. In addition, water consumption is also important because water stimulates saliva production and cleans oral bacteria.

If bad breath is caused by tooth decay or gum infections, a dentist should be consulted. Your doctor will determine the cause of the smell and apply the necessary treatment. Apart from caries and infection, tartar is among the other factors that cause bad breath. It should be cleaned once a year. Every healthy person should go to the dentist twice a year and have their teeth examined and cleaned.
